Every year it's fun to see who we will receive the first Christmas Card from.

I can't wait to see who it is this year!

We've had 2 mailing days after Thanksgiving and I haven't gotten one yet!

5 Things I'm thankful for (gotta catch up since I've been so slack!) in no particular order...

1) My husband

2) My girls

3) My extended family

4) My friends

5) My pets

I won't go into detail because these are pretty self explanatory. But I do have to say that I am a very lucky girl. I don't always appreciate it. I sometimes take these 5 for granted. I'm not proud to say that but there it is. Sometimes I have to take a step back, look at my life and realize that I really am lucky. I was reminded yesterday about the fact that every step you take in your life leads you to the point you are at in your life currently. I know I've taken some missteps in my life (who hasn't?) but I must say that as a whole it has lead me to this life and I wouldn't change it for the world.

Catching up

Being sick totally knocked me off my daily thankful posts!! So instead of being slack and just picking up here and going forth I am going to give you 3, count them, 3 things that I am thankful for. That will take care of Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. So here we go:

Monday: I am thankful for my Mozzie and the fact that the girls are so close with her.

Tuesday: I am thankful for Zpacks. I know this is a silly one but since it started making me feel better I'm a HUGE fan!

Wednesday: I am thankful for (let's be honest) Facebook and Twilight coming out this weekend.
I know that's technically two but oh well!!!

BTW: I'm feeling a lot better now. No dizziness or nausea; just lots of coughing!

I am thankful my family and I have access to healthcare and wonderful doctors, PA's and nurses to take care of us!

Today....

I am thankful that I have a job with a steady income.

I am thankful for all my friends. That one was easy! ;-)

I'm Baaaaaaccckkkk!

And I'm not going to post on my horrible Shutterfly experience.

And I'm not going to post on how busy I've been lately.

And I'm not going to post on the people who decided to work on my neighbors house with jackhammers this morning while I was sleeping because I worked last night.

And I am NOT going to post on my youngest daughter who told me on the way to school she was "definitely not cute because my pants are not the ones I wanted; they're horrible; don't tell me I look cute".

And I am NOT going to post on my oldest daughter egging on the tantrum about the pants this morning.

I'm just going to say: the sun is out; it's a gorgeous fall day outside; there is no rain and I have a lot to be thankful for. As a matter of fact, I'm going to steal an idea from a person on facebook and post something I'm thankful for every day until Thanksgiving. I'm getting a late start on it but I think it will still be a good thing. Anybody else want to play the thankful game with me?

So for today: I am thankful for the sunshine and the fact that I am not one of the people dealing with a flooded house.

Forever

I've been gone for forever.
Have you noticed?
Life has taken over my life!
Blog time has taken a hit.
But cheerleading is over.
The 4th grade squad made the playoffs.
But they lost in the first game.
The 1st grade squad missed the playoffs by 1 minute and 2 seconds.
The end of year party was tonight.
So now it's all over.
I don't go back to work until Wednesday.
And basketball doesn't start until Friday.
Maybe my house can actually get a total cleaning now!!
